News from Joe Balkoski Author Joe Balkoski sends word of his latest projects: "I have just completed a detailed history of the 29th Infantry Division's involvement in the siege of Brest, August 21 - September 19, 1944. It may appear as a US Army publication, but there is a chance it will be published commercially. I am currently working on a history of the 29th Division during the fall campaign in western Germany, September 29 - December 8, 1944."
