The "OVERKILL" Charger is the subject of 3 articles that I wrote for the GOODGUYS GAZETTE Magazine. This is the publication for all the members of the GOODGUYS "Rod & Custom Association". You can check them out at http://www.good-guys.com. In the April Issue I showed the Goodguys readers how to "Chop the Top" on this Charger by about 1/4". In the June Issue I showed how to "Section" the Chargers body about 1/8". Then in the January Issue I showed how to finish the "OVERKILL" Charger. For the Complete information on the construction of this car, be sure to see the Goodguys Gazette Magazines!

The "OVERKILL" Charger is based on the AMT 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona kit. The main modifications on the "OVERKILL" Charger are an 1/4" Chop Top and an 1/8" Sectioning Job. The front spoiler was made from a rear spoiler from a Duster kit. The wheels, tires, and disc brakes are from the Revell NAZCA M12 kit. The exhaust pipe extentions are made with aluminum tubing. The HEMI Engine is from the Charger kit with a wired distributor and gas lines added.

The OVERKILL body was painted with Krylon Gloss Orange and Krylon Gloss clear. The hood, headlight covers and rear taillight section are painted with Testors Flat Black. The "Flames & Checked Flag" Decals are from Slixx. The interior is done in Krylon Orange and Testors Flat Black.
