Wuppertaler Sport Verein is the main soccer club of Wuppertal , a city of roughly 400,000 just south of the Ruhr Valley in western Germany. It's most famous son was Friedrich Engels, but apparently he wasn't much of a soccer fan. Generally, if you want to remain in the city limits and see a team that has any semblance of professionalism (using the term very loosely!), you'll have to watch WSV.
