I didn't keep travel journals until 1997 (briefly) and 2000 (regularly). We'd ventured to various locales around North America and beyond since 1978 but didn't keep good records, just intermittant some gas logs. If you don't write it down, it never happened. I'm slowly trying to recover those happenings. Rotsa ruck, eh?

Often our only datable remnants of reality, besides rusty memories, are the occasional fuel log, the occasional song (I put dates and places on all those), the occasional receipt. From such shall I reconstruct a past. Will the effort be worth it? At least this ever-evolving project will prevent me from being bothersome in public, sometimes.
