As a child, I was made an environmentalist by the overpowering beauty of land, sea, & sky. Living in Sonoma County, I have
trouble driving because of my acute, “o my god, look at that!” syndrome. Painting plein air landscape, I am buffeted by wind, heat, cold, smells, birds, bugs, passersby. May the land speak through my paintings, call many to love & protect it. |
