CABOOSE RESIDENCE -- Nevada City, CA
1991

The Smith Caboose is located in the historic town of Nevada City, California. Playwright Smith uses this 1918 wood cupola caboose as a studio and guest house. RTR&DC designed the authentic restoration for Mrs. Smith after locating and negotiating for the caboose, designing and preparing construction documents for its installation and restoration and obtaining all permits.
