Objectives

My goals are to use my artistic and computer skills for a Sonoma or Marin County company with interests in graphic creation or web design. I am skilled and experienced in many aspects of graphic development, web design and maintenance and graphic file formats. Excellent skills in; Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Image Ready, Flash, Painter, FrontPage, FTP programs, PageMaker, QuarkXPress, Power Point, Microsoft Office, E-mail programs and Internet browsers. Completely comfortable on either Mac or PC. Excellent technical skills in scanning, slide or flatbed, software and hardware trouble shooting. Upgrading software and operating systems.

Other Work Experience

Fall 1999: Santa Rosa Junior College, CIS Department Teaching Assistant. Responsible for preparing and presenting lectures and demonstrations for a computer graphics class using Metacreations Painter 5.

August 1997- January 1999: Santa Rosa Junior College, Lab Assistant in the Petaluma Center CIS computer lab and as a Teaching Assistant, SRJC Art Department, for Photoshop and Painter classes. Prepared demonstrations for classes and worked with students individually to help them solve design and software problems.

November 1991- August 1997: Instructional Assistant at the Mary Collins School, '93-'95 serving as PTA President, '94-'96 member of School Site Council.

Education
Current Educational Objectives

Santa Rosa Junior College: Full and part time continuing student since July 1997, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, studying computer generated art, design, web page design, Internet use and E commerce. Proficient with both Macintosh and PC's. Working towards certificates in Illustrator, Dreamweaver Mastery and Multimedia Design.

Associates Degree

With an emphasis in the Visual Fine Arts, awarded in June 1977 from Manchester Community College, Manchester, CT.
