"Give Your
Child the gift of Respect!
I hear it all the time.
“You’re a black belt? Well I don’t want
to mess with you.”
What do people really mean when they say
this. They are acknowledging that the Black
Belt is a symbol of excellence, achievement,
skill, success and performance and they
respect this. They realize that the person
who chooses the path of Black Belt is choosing
to become a better person; choosing to strengthen
his or her self confidence, self esteem,
and self discipline.
With ASK Karate
training your child will not only get more
respect from other kids and will have the
skills to deal with the bullies and roughnecks
of the world; but will become a better person
because of it.
Relieve Your Child’s Stress!
Believe it or not, kids
feel stress too. It’s not just us adults.
Stress can be defined as the build up of
tension from tangible and intangible threats.
In pre-historic times when your child was
being chased by a Sabre-Tooth Tiger his
or her anxiety was relieved when her dad
killed the Tiger or she escaped and the
Tiger went on his way. In modern times many
of the dangers children face are not physical
but emotional, psychological or financial
and can create anxiety that can last for
years. An older brother or sister who torments
him, a bully at school who threatens him,
or a few of the more popular girls who make
sure that your daughter feels insignificant
and ignored, the list goes on and on.
ASK Karate will
train your child to focus on a target or
objective and to direct his or her energies
towards resolving conflicts non-violently,
no matter how unnerving the circumstances
maybe. And the execution of ASK
Karate techniques will empty
his or her mind of negative thoughts and
emotions and allow him or her to act appropriately.
Your Child will Feel Great and Have More
Focused Energy!
Karate students are bursting
with energy and so will your child! But
it will be a focused energy that will allow
him or her to get her chores and homework
done and still have time for play. When
he or she gets done with a Karate workout
he will feel great! Read what 11 year old
Rebecca says about karate training and how
it makes her feel. “I like karate because
I feel more alive and open when and after
I do karate. I get so tired during the class
but afterwards I feel so energized and ready
for anything that the world throws at me.”
