which is the national governing body for North and South America. PLUS…we are also a member of the Japan Karate Association World Federation, which is the world governing body for Shotokan Karate. Of course we want you to excel at Karate… to do the absolute best you can be. We have students who are National Champions! And we cheer them on… because we are proud of them. Or when a child learns something important about truth and honesty. Or if you tell us you suddenly have more energy! The success stories of our students, whether it’s medals won at an international competition, or just having a more enriching life… these make our day. They make my day. Because when you really get down to it, that is what is really important. People’s lives…their stories…and how their stories change for the better.
