Another view. The cemetery takes up the block. The walls are extremely thick as they bury people in the walls as well (you can't see that in this picture though you can see it in the previous one). Most of these tombs are held by one family, though they may not be the original owners of the tombs. Some of the tombs are un-owned and unused as the family has died out of New Orleans, or the tomb has been forgotten about. But most of these are cared for either by families or the city.
