The River Rat Radio sign was a piece of history, put up in 1995 when Duke&Banner graced the airwaves on KMXN-1150AM. The station served the river area well, but became the victim of a conglomerate. All 4 towers were torn down in '97, to make way for a station in Los Angeles. And just like the towers, the sign just disappeared one night, mysteriously. RIP 1995-2003
