Customer Support
Description:
Sonic.net is seeking qualified individuals to work in our Customer Support Department, open between the hours of 6 AM and 11 PM during the week, and 8 AM and 10 PM on weekends. We provide technical support to a large subscriber base using a diverse set of products, including DSL and email access. Support is provided via telephone, email and live chat.
Our support team currently consists of around thirty people working in a casual, yet fast-paced environment. Good office etiquette, communication and team-working skills are important.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with both Windows and Apple operating systems
- Basic knowledge of networking and dial-up hardware
- Working understanding of common internet browsers and mail clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Full-time positions are available
- Hands on experience with DSL is a plus
- Linux shell and networking skills are not required, but beneficial
