One of the side effects of being in the Web is the jokes we now see daily. Has anyone else noticed that women who are not impressed with men evidently write most of them? On the other hand women outnumber men in the real estate business about 2 to 1. However, if you take the top 10% by income it is almost even.

From my limited experience it appears that cold blooded people (who you can readily identify by their cold feet on your back or their need for ridiculous amounts of clothes or their whining about this winter) can drink hot coffee that a warm (wonderful) blooded person like myself can't touch. It also appears they (cold) can put their hands in hot water that is painful to me. Have you noticed this?

More things you never learned in high school
  1. US real estate is worth 2-3 times all listed stocks. It has had only one downturn in 67 years.
  2. An estimated 5,000 people get to work in New York City everyday on skates.
  3. A third of the recent college graduates hold jobs that don't require college degrees.
  4. Odds are when you order doughnuts, if ever, they'll be the glazed variety. Almost 2 out of 3 sold are.

    More things you'll need to know after high school
    1. Nobody can make you happy. Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.
    2. Live by what you trust.
    3. Character counts. Family matters.
    4. There's no much bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us that it doesn't behoove any of us to talk about the rest of us.
    5. Eating out with small children isn't worth it, even if someone else is buying.

      I just read an ad for a property that I have seen. It speaks in the following terms, “Heart of Wine Country, room for projects, garden, RV. Great trees, lots of light! 5 yr. Roof, new gutters.” Sounds nice doesn’t it? Unfortunately it isn’t. There are numerous physical problems plus a tremendous amount of noise from the 2 roads it sits between. It is a shame we have to go there to find this out.
