Bass Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Did I keep the Bass?
A.  No. I released it right after this picture was taken.

Q.  Where was the picture taken and when?
A.  We were on Shasta Lake camping at Bailey Cove.  We were fishing
    on the McCloud arm near Ycotti Creek when that Bass was caught. 
    It was the Spring of 1997 (sometime in late March).

Q.  Don't you catch any bigger fish?
A.  YES!  Just later that day I caught a 19 inch four pound Bass.
    Carol and Mike Coon caught more fish than I did on that trip, but 
    I caught the smallest (the one in the picture) and the biggest bass.
    Also, I have caught rainbow trout as big as 23 inches long and 
    several salmon in the twenty pound plus range. Also, just last
    summer on a salmon fishing trip I caught a 30 lb halibut.
