Excellent site gave lots of info for my study on fluoride,

Fluoride is a threat to our choice of substances we consume. I know it is far-fetched but in this movie "Conspiracy Theory" a taxi driver suggests that flouride is being used to control peoples thinking habits, creative thought in particular. It could very well be true because it does lower IQs. Anyway, great site. It is truley a reliable source of information on this grim and deadly substance. Fight for your freedom of choice!

Delighted to find such a mine of information. The British government is considering extending the fluoridation of drinking water, a measure I consider very undesirable

I was wondering if anyone could give me a answer to whether or not I should give my 4 month old water with flouride or continue using regular distilled water. He has no teeth yet but will soon. Flouride or no? Erica

It is a great concern to me that the large corporations that promote fluoride cannot see the damage they are causing through thier promotion of fluoride in dental care products. If the FDA has mandated that all dental care products carry a "POISON" warning as of April, 1997, why is it they continue to poison us? Are they afraid of mass law suits and afraid to state that they made a mistake. I recently came across a web site on a Dental Symposium, guess who the sponsors were, you got it Lever Bros, Colgate Polmolive, Procter & Gamble and all the other large manufacturers of dental care products. How could the Canadian Dental Association expect not to be influenced when these large corporations throw galas ever night and have hospitality rooms available to participants. The subject of the conference "FLUORIDE". I thank you for your efforts in revealing the truth about this deadly poison. Sincerely, T F. Walsh

Great Site here! I first became aware of a controversy about fifteen years ago through Acres USA, and learned about it more in depth by reading [Caldwell and Zanfagna's] book entitled "Flouridation and Truth Decay", a copy of which disappeared from a local library. More recently I read the more readily available "Flouridation... The Aging Factor" by Yiamouyiannis, which I see many others here have also referred to. I recommend it to any others wishing to know more about flouridation, or the material you review here. Jeffrey Juran jefjuran@lightlink.com Van Etten, NY USA - Wed May 20 09:30:25 1998 I am trying to locate some research that was done perhaps in the 40's or 50's, or maybe even the 30's where some company had an excess of flouride (byproduct I think) and the government was going to sue them, instead, some dentists decided it was good for teeth and that's how flouridation of our teeth began. Thanks

What a really great site. I'm a final year student at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, England and I'm studying a BSc in Complementary Medicine. I am doing an essay on Fluoride at the moment and would really appriciate it if anyone out there could send me some information or advice that would help me with this essay! It's a really facinating subject and from a personal view, I never thought that the problem was that big! I know a lot of people are the same ... they just don't know the facts. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Yours ... Mark Collin

I have a question: whether distilling water (or any other process) will remove fluoride? I believe that carbon filters will not remove fluoride. I have not been able to find a definitive answer tot his question. Thanks.

I have never agreed to Flouride in my drinking water, yet it has been added to my tap water at .9-.8 PPM without my Knowledge or my Consent. I can see a future reversal of the government decision to flouridate drinking water, and it will be sooner rather than later if i can help it. Than you this web site provides excellent information about flouride and it's effects.

I am not suprised that our government would hide yet another harmful chemical from their own people.

I am a historian and have begun researching the history of the movement opposed to fluoridation. Other shave look at the science in question, I'm trying to do a social hisory of local groups. National groups are easier to track down. I'm looking for people who were involved in the fluoridation campaigns back to the 1950s. Anyone with knowledge of people or groups, or who might have old materials (pamphlets, clippings, etc.): could you contact my email or call my office: (313) 593-5284 (voice mail). I will pay costs for copies and shipping of any archival material you have.

My mother-in-law is frantic! They will put flouride in the water in Sept.! Can anyone help with what info to send to newspapers and the city council to prevent this? She lives in Oviedo, FL and needs support. And the question of finding unflouridated toothpaste...check your local health food store. That's where mine come from.

I am a 40 year old college student and have become aware of the mandatory water fluoridation in my Environmental Science class. As I delve into the information I am appalled and extremely dismayed with our Government literally "forcing fluoridated water down our throats!" Consider me on the band-wagon against water fluoridation!! I intend to educate my community of what is coming down the pike, or pipe, if you will. Thank you for all your research. I will continue to visit your web site for more information.

I was told that fluoride can be used to sedate (don't know if that's true). People used to laugh at me for not wanting my son to get fluoride treatments at the dentist - not so many laugh anymore! Where do you find toothpaste without fluoride????

A book that contains research facts concerning the adverse effect of the use of fluoride in the water is: "Fluoride, the Aging Factor", by Dr. John Yiamouyiannis. If you want to know why fluoride is being promoted for forced medication of our u.s. population, FOLLOW THE MONEY!

I believe it was once said,"In everything, moderation." A truer statement was never uttered. My God, people, almost any substance in the world is toxic in high enough doses. Even the very life giving oxygen that we must breath is highly toxic in concentrated forms. Fluorine (fluoride) is not by any means the perfect element that so many of you seem to demand, but controlled, unbiased, blind studies show that, at present, it seems to be the best alternative that we have. As a Hygienist of over 14 years I have read hundreds of articles, health newsletters, and books, both pro and anti fluoride. One thing that I frequently notice is that antifluoridation materials are so very often written by self-proclaimed experts, self-proclaimed soapbox standers, or people whose field of expertise actually has nothing to do with the health (medical or dental) field. A strong opinion and the financial ability to get your words heard, do not, to my knowledge, make you and expert. It just makes you a noisy, opinionated individual with the assets to be heard. Where is the scientific data and conclusions in that. If I talk the loudest and with the most facts (right or wrong, scientifically concluded or not, and I get a lot of people to listen and agree with me, does that mean that everything I say is the truth? I think not. Politics is a prime example. To those of you who support fluoridation, I say keep up the good work. To those of you who oppose fluoridation, I say, thank goodness this is America. You have the right to your own opinion. You owe it to yourself and to those whom you try to educate, influence, etc., to be very sure that your opinions and facts are based on good solid, reliable, unbiased testing. If your intrepretation of these types of facts is still against fluoridation, well then, good for you.

I would like some information on the "holistic" thoughts on Fluoride in the water and its effects on the development of the bones of small children vs. its effects on the reduction of tooth decay! If you have any information that you are willing to share... please E-mail it to me at TopJake@ix.netcom.com Thanks!

I browsed this site looking for information on fluorine for a college term paper, but in the process I have decided that I am opposed to water fluoridation! I had no idea that fluorine was so harmful. Thanks for all the info, and good luck with your anti-fluoridation campaign!
