About Me (Ann Clark)

Here are some relevant facts about me:

I started driving when I was 15-1/2 years old and have been driving now for thirty years.

I commute 200 miles a week between Sonoma and Santa Rosa) in my rose-colored '97 Saturn. And, just so you know that I'm not some sort of scofflaw who doesn't practice what she preaches, I have a perfect driving record.*

By way of further introduction, here are some places (mandatory and pleasurable) to which I currently drive:

  • To my job as a legal assistant.
  • North, when I can get away: Fort Bragg, Eureka... redwoods and ocean!
  • To anywhere there's trees, hiking paths, bodies of water, dogs, books, and chocolate chip cookies.
  • To the wine country flat where my best friend and I live. (More photos!)

*(Except for a ticket I got when I was driving to my grandmother's when I was 17, for going something like 7 mph over the speed limit in a small Northern California speedtrap town which shall remain nameless in case I'm ever through there again. The ticket was dismissed by a Hanging Judge who threw it out but warned me darkly and with one of those wickedly frightening Dickensian finger-pointing-down-at-me-from-the-bench postures that if I got another ticket before I was 18 he would yank my license forever.)
