Sonoma County Fair & Portuguese Beach Pictures

My friends Craig & Kathy Hribar and their youngest daughter, Kathryn, spent part of their Northern California vacation with Ms Becky & me. On 3 August we went to the Somona County Fair in the morning and then off to the coast at Bodega Head and Portuguese Beach in an effort to escape the record 106-degree heat. The beach temperatures were in the upper 60's and quite pleasant compared to the inland temperatures we had left.

These pictures are the second 'field trials' using my new Epson PC 550 digital camera.
I am still trying to master getting a consistently good focus using the standard lens?
