Lots of beautiful socks, and many different ways to knit them, were showcased in our Sock Symposium.

For those who didn't come, you can still get a copy of our booklet that attendees received; it is available here in PDF format. This PDF booklet includes Sandi Rosner's article, Doublepointed Needles - 4 or 5?, that was inadvertently left out printed copy of the booklet.

Two pages in the booklet are links to sites on socks, covering the methods discussed by panelists, as well as more information and resources for sock knitters. You'll find those links here on our site, too, in our Sock Symposium Links page.

We thank our talented and creative panelists for their knowledge and enthusiasm about the way they do their socks:

Nita Hon Anatomy of a sock
Sandi Rosner 4/5 DPN (author of Not Just Socks, Not Just More Socks, and Not Just Socks for Kids)
Jacque Donahue 2 Socks on 2 Circulars
     Pat Hellhake Magic Loop
Phina Borgesen Alternative Bind-off for Toe-Up Socks
     Karen Kennedy Socks for Charity
