Installation. The program is very quick and easy to install. Accelerate Your Web Browsing. If you are tired of visiting busy sites and waiting for the pages to appear, you can take Web sites down to your hard drive to view "off-line" with Web Buddy's Page To Go and Site To Go utilities. Then, you can use your favorite browser to view the sites, just as if you were on-line. The only difference you'll see is how much faster the pages and graphics appear. Web Buddy's unique Toolbar works alongside Netscape, Internet Explorer and other browsers to provide instant access to its powerful capabilities. Share Web Pages with Co-workers, Students--or Just Friends. Why not have an Internet connection for everyone in your company or classroom or share the pages and sites that you have downloaded on a floppy disk, server or removable media, such as a Zip or Jaz disk. Now, anyone with a browser can view the pages without an Internet connection with the Page To Go utility. This is a great reason why Web Buddy has been an extremely useful utility for schools that have only a few Internet connections but need to use the Internet for teaching in the classroom. Furthermore, information on the Web changes every second. Use Web Buddy's Page To Go utility as a research assistant to "capture" the data on Web pages which may be gone tomorrow. Take the Web "On the Road." You can download sites so that you can view them at your convenience--on a plane, on the beach or in your living room using the Site To Go utility. Once a page or site is taken "to go," there is no Internet connection needed to view it. Automatically Schedule. The Schedule utility allows you to have Web Buddy automatically take a Page To Go or Site To Go at a Scheduled time. A scheduled "To Go" can also be repeated daily, weekly, monthly or at customized intervals. It will be "delivered" to Web Buddy Central in the category you choose. Store URLs. The Bookmark utility lets you store URLs that you want to visit again live on the Web without having to remember the long address. Web Buddy's bookmarks are organized "on the fly" in categories, similar to the Page and Site To Go utilities. Reuse Web Pages in Word Processor. The Convert utility allows you to reuse Web pages and graphics in your favorite word processor. Virtually all document formatting is retained in the resulting file, so the converted Web page looks the same in your word processor as it did in your Web browser. You can convert any live or local page that you are browsing. |
