Just on a kick, I took my notebook out front to play with while waiting for Kyle to pick me up. Well, much to my shock, after searching for a minute or so, my computer not only found the 802.11b router, but marked it as having good-to-excellent strength. WTF? I know it wasn't doing that originally, especially as my location is about 50 feet from the router itself, if not more. I did just move the router a few feet from its original location the other day, perhaps something had been interfering with its ability to function.
