I've spent the last...er...long while working on my room. Fun, fun fun...the small chest of drawers is all cleared out of a literal lifetime worth of junk in and under it, now it's onwards to the tall dresser. Or so I intended...

I was working on my notebook a bit ago and noticed that the hard drive was starting to sound distinctly wrong. Not just a little, either -- I recognize the faint grinding sound as one that previous HDs have made before completely failing to function. So I'm going to grab some diagnostic utilities, back my documents up, and check things out. With any luck, it will all turn out to be fine, but after the last few issues this system had, I'm not taking any chances.
