Wow... I've been getting a lot done. *grin*

One or more of the power outlets to my room fried either last Friday or Saturday. I was hanging out in here when I thought I smelled "electrical" smoke late at night, but wasn't sure -- it seemed to be coming from the window or outside. I now suspect that it was actually coming from the outlet below the window, and I just didn't notice it. :-p Either way, it tripped the circuitbreaker the next day, so I've been running my room off extension cords leading from the bathroom for the past several days.

I had slowed down quite a bit on the project of cleaning in here, out of both physical and mental exhaustion. However, having the power knocked out has invigorated me quite a bit, because I can't restore power to this room until I can move the large furniture away from the outlets. The one under the window won't be *too* difficult, because all I have there is a build-it-yourself chest-of-drawers -- easy to move. The real pain is going to be the ones on the other two walls, because on one wall I have an old hardwood dresser (which I hate) and on the other wall is my waterbed. Before I can even attempt to move the bed, I have to rearrange all the other large furniture, which in turn requires I be able to empty it, make room in my closet, or do something similar.

Fun house, eh?
