What's particularly odd about this is that I intentionally released the "lure" (normally suspended across the middle of the ball) last year to keep her from repeatedly getting her head stuck in it. Normally she carries the ball around by the lure as it dangles outside -- why exactly she stuck her head inside it again, I'll probably never know. Perhaps she was just trying to fulfill Matt's request for more kitty pics by giving me something interesting to photograph? *snicker*
