I met up with my little brother yesterday and gave him his Christmas present -- a Palm IIIc (color) handheld with laptop-size keyboard and nice case. He had mentioned needing a handheld of some kind to keep track of his life now, and said he was desperate enough to take a POS monochrome $10 thingy, so I figured I'd give him something that's actually fun to use.

So he was at first excited and impressed by it, which I figured would be the extent of things. Then he IMed me this evening asking for where to find a program I'd mentioned, and I said I could suggest a few other things...a long period of excited exploring/downloading later, he finally quit only because he spends nights at his GF's house (though something tells me she's going to have a hard time getting his attention tonight, or alternately he's going to drive her nuts showing her what it can do)... It sounds like he's as much of a fanatic about customizing it, adding stuff, finding new ways to use it as I am! *bounce*
