Schoenorchis juncifolia
Long, pendant terete type leaves distinguish this species from Borneo. Vegetatively similar to Dendrobium terefolium and Angraecum terefolium. Several times thoughout the year a spike emerges along the "stalk" and produces beautiful "blue" flowers. Plant likes to hang in intermediate temps and moderate light. Not found in many collections.

Stanhopea Assidensis
One of the more striking of this genus. The parents are found throughout Central America and northern South America. They are a favorite of many collectors. Although flowers are short-lived, the plant flowers almost continuously from mid-summer through fall. This is a primary hybrid where the S. tigrina parent dominates in color and pattern. Intermediate temperature with moderate light. Fragrant!

Stanhopea connata
One of the more compact stanhopeas that doesn't get out of hand size-wise. Blooms orange/gold with darker orange covering the column. Makes medium sized, fragrant flowers. Found from Mexico to Panama. Likes lots of water in its growing period (spring & summer) Will reward you with many flowers from late summer through fall. Very fragrant.
