The MarcoPolo Partnership

MarcoPolo is a partnership between the MCI WorldCom Foundation and seven renowned educational organizations. Each of these organizations hosts a discipline-specific web site that contains standards-based Internet content for the classroom. MarcoPolo acts as a gateway site, linking the individual partner sites.

How to Get to the MarcoPolo
Web Site Type www.wcom.com/marcopolo into the address line of your web browser and hit Enter or Return. The MarcoPolo home page should appear.

Looking at the Marco Polo Home Page
Begin by familiarizing yourself with the layout of the site. Move your cursor around the page and see which items are links to other sites, or to places within the same site. Don't be shy-go ahead and click on anything. You can always get back by clicking on the Back button of your browser toolbar.

Once you feel comfortable moving around the MarcoPolo site, go on to any of the other partner sites. (See labeled screen shot below for instructions on how to get to other partner sites.) While each site has its own layout and structure, you'll find that once you know the basics of navigation, you can move easily around any of the sites.
