Choose the login and password for the email-only accounts. The login is the email address, login@sonic.net. Email names are up to 8 lowercase letters. The passwords are case sensitive. Email Only accounts do not have dialup capabilities. You can add dial-up access to your mailbox accounts for $10 each, per month.

Sonic.net Basic Account Guidelines:
  1. By continuing to use our services, you agree to abide by our Acceptable User Policy, or AUP.
  2. Accounts are for one person only. One dialup connection at a time.
  3. Sonic.net will automatically bill your credit card unless you instruct us to do otherwise.
  4. Each member is responsible for their own actions on the system.
  5. Unsolicited mass email and mass Usenet postings are not allowed. (No SPAM or Junk Mail.)
  6. All web pages are subject to copyright law, and controlled by the member on the system.
  7. Sonic.net is a common carrier and does not censor. We suggest minors be supervised.
  8. Billing is done by email or fax only. A renewal notice is issued 30 days before expiration allowing users ample time to send in payment. Received payments are also confirmed by email.
  9. Sonic.net charges a $15 fee for each bounced check.
  10. If you are not satisfied within thirty days, you are eligible for a complete refund.
  11. There is a $5 charge for login changes.
  12. Verify that Sonic.net's modem dial-up number is a local call from your location - Sonic.net can not be held responsible if long distance fees are incurred.
