Banner advertising program

Sonic.net is offering free banner advertising to locally hosted websites. We'd like to showcase the great sites that our customers are hosting here and drive new traffic to your site. A banner ad on the Sonic.net home page will be seen by thousands of local Internet users - we get over 6000 impressions on our homepage per day.

Here are the details for participation:

1. You must have Sonic.net Basic Hosting or Value Hosting service for the web site in question to participate.
2. If you have any questions about the banner program, please post to news:sonic.help.www.
3. Image dimensions must be 468 x 60 pixels.
4. Image file size may be up to 14k (14336 bytes).
5. Images may be gif of jpg format. Animated gifs are okay, but please don't make them too annoying. Animated gifs must be set to loop a maximum of 10 times!
6. Please name submitted images using your Sonic.net login username and URL. For example, [username.www.domain.com.gif]. If you submit multiple images, add a number after the username, for example [username.1.www.domain.com.gif].
7. Images which do not conform to these requirements will be rejected.
8. You can submit up to three images for your site, and we will randomly rotate them. Note that submitting more images doesn't mean more ad impressions, it just allows you to have variety in the banners people will see when your rotation comes up.
9. To submit banner images, please place them the incoming directory at ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/incoming/. After uploading your banner, email support@sonic.net and let us know you've got a new banner for us to put online.
10. Your banner will be displayed on our home page at www.sonic.net. The Sonic.net home page currently receives about 4000 page views per day. The number of views your banner receives will depend upon how many banners are submitted for rotation.
11. Sonic.net may modify or discontinue this promotion at any time.
