The Canine Good Citizen
Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners in public and at
home. It is also a way of recognizing people who demonstrate
responsible pet ownership.
The Mensona Kennel Club encourages and supports all dog
owners to participate in the Canine Good Citizen program. We hold a Canine Good Citizen test yearly on the
first Saturday in May. This year's test is scheduled for August 18th. Please go to the
Obedience and CGC page for more information on testing time, equipment to bring,
and fee. The test is limited to 20 dogs so please be sure to get
your entry in early.
If you're interested in the Canine Good Citizen Test,
but, don't know what's involved, please visit the AKC's website and read
all about the
Canine Good Citizen
Program. Remember, purebreds and mixed-breeds are welcome.
If you have any questions, please feel free to send them
