The current date is included with the invoice. All non-recurring fees or credits posted to your account prior to this date will be included in the invoice. Date formats in our invoices are as follows: year - month - day. For example, January 12, 2004 would be listed as 2004-01-12.

Also listed is the period of time this invoice applies to. Any recurring fees for this time period will be itemized below.

Monthly services that renew during the invoiced time period appear with both the monthly price and total price in US Dollars. For example, when renewing for two months, "Basic Internet Service" will show a 18.95 monthly price and $37.90 total price. This example invoice is for a single month, so the monthly and total prices are identical.

Some services will show no monthly price. This applies to yearly services (such as Domain Registration) and services whose costs are included in another listed service. These will have a listed monthly and total price of 0.00.

Domain Registration service, DNS hosting, Multihoming, SSL Key Management, and MySQL service are all listed separately. Multihoming includes free MySQL service, so the monthly price is listed at 0.00. Domain Registration Service is not a monthly service (as domain names are registered in yearly increments), so it is also has a monthly and total price listed as 0.00.

DSL services are noted on your account as zero-dollar recurring services. In cases where you have upgraded to four or eight static IP addresses, you will see your address space listed as a separate, zero-price entry. Your IP address and circuit identifier (PVC) will appear as a separate zero-price entry. Your level of service (Value, Lite, Primary, Basic, etc.) will appear as a separate zero-price entry. DSL fees are added as non-recurring charges elsewhere in the invoice, and are posted to your account when we are billed by the telephone company, along with any Sonic.net-specifc price adjustments (appearing as charges or credits, as appropriate).

Any outstanding credits to your account are listed with a monthly price of "n/a" and a total price denoted with the credit's value followed by "cr." The total amount of all credits to your account will be factored in your sum total.

Any outstanding charges to your account are listed with a monthly price of "n/a" and a total price of the charge's amount. All credits and charges with no listed monthly price include the appropriate timeframe for which they apply. In this example, charges appear for "SBC-ASI DSL passthrough billing" for September 26 to October 17 and for October 17 to November 17.

At the bottom of your invoice, after all itemized services, charges, and credits, a total amount will be listed. This is the sum total of all prices for monthly services during the invoiced time period, plus all outstanding charges on the account, minus all outstanding credits on the account. Remitting payment in this total amount will renew your Sonic.net account to the end of the invoiced time period, and settle all outstanding charges posted to your account before the invoice date.
