1. What is FreeSurfer?

   FreeSurfer is a program created by EMS-Project. It blocks unrequested pop-up advertising, animated GIFs, and flash animations. All of these features are optional, and can be turned on or off while you are surfing.

2. Where can I get FreeSurfer?

   FreeSurfer is available directly from Sonic.net at no charge at www.sonic.net/support/fs/. Please note that FreeSurfer only operates on Windows systems running Internet Explorer.

3. Why can't I change my home page?

   By default, FreeSurfer will set your homepage to http://www.sonic.net/. Freesurfer locks your homepage to prevent malicious website from directing you to advertisements every time you load your web browser.

   To change your homepage, open FreeSurfer, then click on Tools. Select "Options" and uncheck "Lock Homepage," after which you will be able to set your homepage normally.
