downloading, installing, configuring, or using Netscape Navigator 1.12,
please call Netscape Communications
Corporation at (800) 889-2171. Additionally, the latest version of Netscape
Navigator can be found at <http://home.netscape.com/comprod/mirror/client_download.html>.
A. Configuration:
- Once you have dialed-up and connected to Sonic, double-click
the NETSCAPE 1.12 icon.
- Choose OPTIONS > PREFERENCES...
- Choose WINDOW AND LINK STYLES.
- For HOME PAGE LOCATION type in <http://www.sonic.net/>.
Make sure to use only lower case letters here.
- Choose MAIL AND NEWS.
- For MAIL (SMTP) SERVER type in <mail.sonic.net>. Make
sure to use only lower case letters here.
- For YOUR NAME type in your <First and Last name> (e.g.,
John Doe). You may use both upper and lower case letters here.
- For YOUR EMAIL type in your <username@sonic.net> (e.g.,
johnd@sonic.net). Make sure to use only lower case letters here.
- For NEWS (NNTP) SERVER type in <news.sonic.net>. Make
sure to use only lower case here.
- Click the OK button to complete the configuration of Netscape Navigator
