We remind you at this point that Sonic does not offer telephone or e-mail technical support for the software listed below. If you have problems downloading, installing, configuring, or using the Eudora 1.5.4, please call QUALCOMM Incorporated at (619) 658-2100.

A. Download and Installation:

  1. Download Eudora Light from the following Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address using your Web Browser (e.g., Netscape Navigator, or Microsoft Internet Explorer):

  2. Double-click the Self-Installing Eudora Light file after you download it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete its installation.

A. Configuration:

  1. Double-click the EUDORA LIGHT icon.

  2. Choose TOOLS > OPTIONS...

  3. Click the GETTING STARTED icon.

  4. For POP ACCOUNT type in your <username@pop.sonic.net> (e.g., johnd@pop.sonic.net). Make sure to use only lower case letters here.

  5. For REAL NAME type in your <First and Last name> (e.g., John Doe). You may use both upper and lower case letters here.

  6. Click the PERSONAL INFORMATION icon.

  7. For RETURN ADDRESS type in your <username@sonic.net> (e.g., johnd@sonic.net). Make sure to use only lower case letters here.

  8. Click the HOSTS icon.

  9. For SMTP SERVER type in <mail.sonic.net>. Make sure to use only lower case letters here.

  10. Click the OK button to complete the configuration of Eudora 1.5.4.
