Wireless Network Setup in Windows Vista
Open the Start Menu and select "Connect to."
By default, any wireless networks in range should be displayed in the following menu. If this is not the case, make sure your wireless network card is powered on, and that the Show menu is not set to "Dial-up and VPN."
Select the appropriate network and click the Connect button.
If you've purchased a Zoom X6 from us, the network's name (known as the SSID) will be printed on a sticker, located on the underside of the modem. You'll also need to take note of the WEP key listed on the same sticker. This is the "security key" you'll need to type into the following screen in order to connect.
After typing in the passphrase, click the Connect button found on the bottom right hand corner of the window. The computer should connect successfully after a brief wait, and you'll be notified with the screen below.
If you'd like your computer to automatically look for and connect to this network in the future, make sure both of the checkboxes are marked, and click close. You should now be able to access the internet wirelessly.
