St. Rose School Building Restoration/Conversion, Santa Rosa, CA.

The St. Rose School Building project we completed for the Catholic Diocese of Santa Rosa involved the seismic rehabilitation, renovation, expansion, and space planning of an existing historic three story structure. In coordination with the seismic stabilization, Tierney/Figueiredo redesigned the interior and installed a new roof, new windows, new HVAC system and new exterior finishes that allowed the building to not only function as offices and meeting facilities for the church, but also as an assembly facility with a completely renovated auditorium and new kitchen addition. We feel the project not only restored the building to its original beauty, but also provided the impetus for the subsequent architectural rebirth of the surrounding neighborhood.
