FROG HOLLER GATHERING 2000 THE 25th ANNIVERSARY Frog Holler is a Primitive Rendezvous held on Elks Creek Reservuar near the town of Oak Ridge Oregon. The only way to get your camp in is ether by Canoe (a one mile paddle) or on foot (a mile and a half walk). The size if the camps and the amount of equipment that folks manage
to bring often surprises me. Camps coming in Every one receives a warm welcome The weather at Frog is always interesting. This year I was there for
six days and we had over two and a half days of sunshine. Occasionally while it was
raining. It is always good to see children at any rendezvous. Here are two
young girls playing near the water. Frog Holler has one of the most picturesque rifle trails that I have
seen at a rendezvous. Here is Frog Holler's version of the Polar Bear Club. Bear in mind
this is 7:00 in the morning and all the watchers are bundled up in heavy coats or wool
capotes. burrrrrrrrr!! Here is a picture of a crusty old skinner at Frog taken by Powder Dan
