The truth of the matter is the only time the Mountainman had the alcohol and a place of relative security to enable him to relax from the daily stress of being hunted by wild animals wilder men and competing trappers was at Rendezvous. At this time many of these "Boys" cut loose and weren't sober until Rendezvous was over. |
