I make computer-based fine art, illustrations, and graphic design for a variety of clients and media in the US and abroad. I use the web extensively to streamline the production process by putting interactive client comps on private pages of my website.

A few years ago, the only way to get a comp to a client was to loose a full day, while waiting for an overnight shipper to fly a piece of paper somewhere. Imagine the tons of jet fuel being blown all over the stratosphere. That practice is quickly disappearing - and ART 101 is pleased to be at the forefront of this movement.

Major clients include Sony Music, Time/Warner, and Sun Microsystems. I can send a list of other clients on request.

I also create CD cover art and video and multimedia images. A favorite project involved creating 428 pieces (with a total image area of 15 by 42 feet each, on three giant screens) for Jeph Siegel's performance work, "Unity Gain." Oh - and I did some animations for an Academy Award (R) winning documentary, The Panama Deception, a few years ago. Please visit my "pet project" while you're there, too... an unofficial memorial gallery for Columbia/Epic recording artist Jimmie Spheeris. Jimmie was a friend of mine and documenting his work began as a hobby. I'm pleased that tens of thousands of fans now stop by to visit and remember him. The memorial gallery is a great example of the power of the web. The site sparked a national movement that resulted in the reissue of Jimmie's catalog. The label asked me to do the CD insert design... a dream come true and the culmination of a 14-year quest.
