Beading
- Double Thread : Thread your needle
before coating your thread with Thread Heaven®. Give the needle
a couple of twists, then coat both threads at once. This will help
keep Thread Heaven's natural static charge from forcing the threads
apart.
- Ripping Out : Nymo and silk beading
threads are particularly subject to fraying after they have been ripped
out. Re-coat this section of thread before you continue with your
project to help re-bind the fibers.
- Pre-waxed Thread : Although pre-waxed
threads, like Silamide, don't tangle or fray as much as standard beading
thread, it is still important to coat them with Thread Heaven®
to increase the life of your project, reduce drag, and to reduce hand
and wrist fatigue.
- When knitting or crocheting with
pre-strung beads, coat the pearl cotton with Thread Heaven®
before string the beads and they will move back and forth along the
length much easier.
