pipián = pipián paste = pipian = pipian paste = pumpkin seed sauce = green pumpkin seed sauce = pumpkin seed mole   Notes:   This Hispanic paste is made from ground pumpkin seeds mixed with oil, chiles, sesame seeds, and other ingredients.  It's used to make rich, creamy sauces.
