Water, Tree, and Fire (a haiku) (by Arak)
-------------------------------

The river is here.
Flowing ever in motion.
Until it changes.

The tree in the Fall.
Changes shape and loses leaves.
Until Spring Returns.

The unending flame.
Fire is warm and burns with life.
Until it is quenched.

The water is gone.
The fire has been extinguished.
The tree still stands, alone.
