    Each piece of tableware is individually crafted from select pieces of western hardwoods and identified by the local name for the tree.
    The wall thickness varies between 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch, depending on the ability of the wood (and the turner) to support the shape.
    When finished each is carefully evaluated for [a] the natural beauty of the wood's color and figure [b] the aesthetics of the turned shape [c] my workmanship, and the sum of this evaluation is reflected in the price.
