Bell Peppers

Bell peppers are such a bright red,
Yet they are picked green as well.
They are so shiny and have such an interesting shape;
A contorted, uneven, "bell-like" figure that is different for each one.
When they're ripe, the tiny seeds rattle
In the hollow interior.
They are eaten with vegetables, in casseroles,
On pizzas and in tortillas.
Such a unique ingredient in so many foods,
Man, I hate the taste.
