Warm Fuzzies

I heard the phrase "warm fuzzies" used,
And wondered what it could be.
I sat down and thought about it awhile,
And now I think I see.

Warm fuzzies are lying in bed at night,
As the roof is pelted by raindrops,
The sound of the fireplace in the wintertime,
Listening as it roars, crackles and pops.

Warm fuzzies are having my cat sit on my lap,
Purring her confort out loud,
Saturday morning, lying in bed,
Resting and watching a cloud.

Warm fuzzies are visiting Grandma & Grandpa,
Memories of playing and toys,
At night someone always stays up to talk,
Their laughter a conforting noise.

Warm fuzzies are trying to go to sleep
On Christmas or Easter Eve,
Opening presents and hunting for eggs
After Santa and Easter Bunny leave.

Warm fuzzies are wonderful, comforting things
That can be found anywhere.
Now that I know just what the term means,
I've noticed that they're everywhere.
