Here they are: click a thumbnail to see the full-sized version.
These are selective thumbnails: there's more to each picture than is shown in its thumbnail.
The newest are at the top, so the art gets progressively older (that is, worse) as you go down.

And by the way, this is all © to me, so don't steal.

Multiple sketches, most of which were drawn to songs. The first few weren't; there's a wolftaur I saw in a pattern in a rumpled bath towel [weird place for inspiration, I know], a rather short gargoyle, and somebody in a weird pose. It looked neater in real life; I was playing volleyball and someone was reaching for the ball and ended up in that pose, and I remembered it when I was drawing later. The rest were drawn to songs: Bad Fish, Stayin' Alive, Cuban Pete, Polychronopolis, Summertime, and All The Kids Are Right.

Heheh, this is a scene in the still-unnamed story, and I'll not give it away by explaining just why that human female is chasing Rarr. I'll just say that I find it entertaining.

Motion sketches! All inspired by songs somebody was playing while I waited for volleyball practice to start. Beginning at the top left, the songs are Brass Monkey, Praise You, Firestarter, Bawitabaw, and Ghetto Superstar. [Its says "Naught" before Ghetto Superstar, since I wasn't listening to anything when I started the pic.]

Here's Kean and Adlai, goofing around. This scene isn't in their story, but I plan to write more about them eventually, so we may see it at some point. I may also finish this pic when I learn how to draw bird heads. The middle of the page looks good, at least. That's not quite the face I imagined for Kean, but it turned out kinda neat, so it can stay. I like Adlai's hand. Griffin hands are great fun to draw.

A mostly vague pic of me hanging out with [in order:] Shiv, Tryphon, Rab, Liaz, and Nij. [And those are just the shortened verions of their names.] They're cool characters, they're in a band, only one is technically human, and they're not yet in a finished story. But they have permanent residence in my head.

I'm still working on what these characters look like. Here're a couple of old ideas for Tryphon and Rab. I only remembered a while ago that Tryphon doesn't have pointed ears. Oh well, he does when he poses for this pic, so there.

These're ideas for Nij and Shiv. I really need to work on this: I haven't caught Nij's mischievous nature, and Shiv looks like Michael J. Fox, which she's not supposed to.

And here're a couple sketchy pix of Liaz, as well as some leftover faces. Some of those faces look interesting enough to make regular characters out of.

I sketched out quite a few poses of my raptor friend/steed Aurora Jerboa, trying to get the motion right. Some of these look accurate.

Here's some practice with my then-new ColErase pencils, while listening to the song "Danger Zone." Music can be great inspiration.

Sketch page! The top row of pix are attempts to draw somebody with cherries for hair [no, I'm not explaining that; see the story section]. The rest is miscellania.

Lotsa miscelaneous headshots, a fuzzy young griffin morph, and a cool species I'd forgotten about. That two-thumb look is cool. And in case you're wondering, that is a camel with a ponytail and shades, but not the one selling cancer sticks. This is a design I saw in the trees [you know how you can see pictures in clouds?]

Drawn while listening to a Beatles concert, aka a Screaming Fan Convention. I decided to draw someone matching all that shrieking. So, this is Harlequin, also known as Harley. Rock star to the core, and loving every minute of it.

Random ColErase sketch of Aurora and me in a mossy-green cave, looking outside. [It was easier to see the background before the pic was scanned.]

And, back in the early days of colored pencil practice ... we have a picture that kinda looked better before I colored it.
