Excuisite orange, creme, and brown banding stands out against a lighter background in this Dryhead Agate pendant. It is wire-wrapped in sterling silver for contrast. This type of agate is very rare and unusual. Collecting is prohiibited due to its only source being on a proteced wild horse reserve in Montana. As a result, any rough comes from old private collections. I decided on a simple pear shape for this particular stone and minimal wraps. It measures 1.5 inches in length and comes with an 18 inch chain.
