Guadalupe Jasper is a very rare type of orbicular jasper from the San Jose, CA area. It is similar to Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper, yet much more scarce. Bright red "poppies" swim in a field of yellow. The black lines you see are healed fractures which have been replaced with quartz. I kept the design of this wrap off the stone as much as possible to really show it off. This pendant really catches your eye brightens up in the sun.
