Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper is one of my favorite stones to cut. It's a rare form of orbicular jasper found near San Jose, CA. Found primarily in red and yellow, this jasper can come in a wide variety of hues and patterns. Here is a beautiful example of one with a lot of quartz in it. I went with a simple verticle design and kept the swirls up off the stone to really show off this beauty. The pendant is made of sterling silver and is 1.5 inches in length.
