I picked this material up when I was just a kid in my budding years of rockhounding/ lapidary. It was back when I started out with a rock tumbler. I kept about 3 pounds of this petrified wood in an old microscope box and after 20 yeears, rediscovered it. Now with the skills to really bring this beautiful petrified wood to it's full potential, I set out to cab it and turn it into a piece of jewelry. This pendant has a warm earthy feel and really shows it's colors and deapth in the sunlight. It loves the sun. It's wire-wrapped in sterling silver and comes with an 18 inch chain.
