I've was thinking the other night about ideas for the Big Site I'm planning to launch one of these days, and it occurred to me that posting a calendar of concerts might be pretty cool - something I did on an earlier website of mine, back before I knew what PHP, CSS, and a whole load of other web development acronyms were. I also thought a calendar might not be such a bad thing to put on this "fake" site, possibly to help me set goals and get things done. In case you haven't noticed, I've been a bit of a slacker lately.
But anyway, I found this great video over at drupaltherapy.com which gives tips on how to accomplish such as task using the Calendar, CCK, Date, and Views modules (all of which are now installed here). There's nothing up that anyone with non-administrative rights can see, but as soon as I get a chance to work with some Displays, the calendar will become a reality. This is getting fun again!
